Position Overview:
As our System Administrator, you'll take charge of installing, configuring, maintaining, and troubleshooting our organization's servers, networks, and associated systems. Collaborating with diverse teams, you'll ensure that our technology solutions align seamlessly with our business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Install, configure, and maintain servers, operating systems, and software applications to uphold high availability and performance standards.
  • Monitor system performance, swiftly addressing issues to minimize downtime and optimize resource usage.
  • Manage user accounts, permissions, and access controls, adhering to stringent security protocols and best practices.
  • Implement and maintain backup and disaster recovery solutions, safeguarding data integrity and mitigating risks effectively.
  • Configure and oversee network devices like routers, switches, firewalls, and VPNs to ensure secure and reliable connectivity.
  • Maintain system security by installing and updating security patches, updates, and antivirus software to counter vulnerabilities and threats.
  • Collaborate with vendors, service providers, and internal stakeholders to tackle technical challenges and implement system improvements.
  • Document system configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting methods to maintain accurate and up-to-date records.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to end-users, including training and knowledge sharing initiatives.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in system administration to drive continual enhancement and innovation.
Qualifications:
  • Possession of a Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • A solid background of at least 5 years in system administration roles, preferably in enterprise settings.
  • Proficiency in administering both Windows and Linux/Unix operating systems.
  • Hands-on experience with virtualization technologies such as VMware or Hyper-V.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
  • A strong grasp of networking concepts, protocols, and technologies.
  • Exceptional problem-solving and troubleshooting skills, enabling the diagnosis and resolution of complex technical issues.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, facilitating seamless collaboration with team members and stakeholders.
  • Desirable industry certifications, such as Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator (MCSA) or Linux Professional Institute Certification (LPIC).
