Job Description

We are seeking  dedicated Tellers to join our client in Columbus, Ohio! The Teller will assist members with their financial needs by providing clear explanations of products and services, performing basic transactions, and upholding service standards.

Position Details:
  • Type: Direct Hire Opportunity
  • Salary: $17.00 - $18.50/hour
  • Schedule: Flexibility required to cover weekday shifts between 8 AM and 6 PM, and rotating Saturdays from 9 AM to 1 PM
  • Location: In-office position at several locations

Essential Job Functions:
  • Process member transaction requests, including deposits, withdrawals, fund transfers, and wire transfers.
  • Assist members with various account process changes and address basic inquiries about member accounts using the data processing system.
  • Manage a cash drawer and accurately post daily cash transactions to and from the vault.
  • Balance daily work and ensure accuracy in transactions.
  • Evaluate members’ needs, explain services and products, and identify cross-selling opportunities while tracking performance.
  • Handle completed ACH and ATM items, debit and credit card disputes, and process stop payment requests.
  • Conduct quality control for internal processes within Member Services and other departments as needed.
  • Understand and comply with policies and federal regulations.

Qualifications and Skills Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 2+ years of experience in customer service.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks and work independently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience working with databases and CRM systems.
  • Knowledge of membership management best practices and trends.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed.
