Territory Sales Manager
Job Description
We are looking for a Territory Sales Manager for our client in Cleveland! You will be responsible for driving sales growth and profitability within your assigned territory. The primary focus will be on building and maintaining strong customer relationships, identifying new business opportunities, and ensuring the success of your territory.
Responsibilities:
- Develop a comprehensive territory plan to achieve sales targets and growth objectives.
- Regularly analyze market trends, competition, and customer needs to identify opportunities and challenges.
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies to penetrate new markets and expand existing customer base.
- Collaborate with the Sales and Marketing teams to create compelling sales campaigns and promotions.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers and stakeholders.
- Understand customer needs and provide tailored solutions to meet their requirements.
- Monitor and analyze sales data to track performance against targets.
- Prepare regular reports and forecasts to provide insights into territory performance.
- Manage and allocate budget resources effectively to maximize ROI.
- Control expenses within the allocated budget for the territory.
- Ensure that all sales activities and processes comply with company policies and industry regulations.
- Uphold the highest ethical standards in all interactions with customers and colleagues.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (MBA is a plus).
- Proven experience in sales and sales management within the industrial sector.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to analyze data and market trends to make informed decisions.
- Results-oriented with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Proficiency in using CRM software and other sales tools.
- Willingness to travel within the assigned territory.
