Training and Development Specialist
Job Description
EverStaff is seeking an experienced Training and Development Specialist to support a highly respected firm. This individual will play a key role in designing, developing, and delivering firmwide training initiatives that align with strategic goals and support both attorneys and staff across multiple locations.
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and implement firmwide training and professional development programs
- Assess organizational training needs through surveys, interviews, and consultation with leadership
- Create and implement a comprehensive training program for Legal Administrative Assistants
- Plan, organize, and facilitate engaging training sessions using adult-learning principles
- Develop training materials including manuals, guides, presentations, and e-learning modules
- Evaluate external training resources and recommend effective solutions
- Enhance and manage the firm’s New Hire Orientation program
- Oversee the firm’s Learning Management System (LMS) and training databases
- Coordinate training logistics including scheduling, enrollment tracking, cost monitoring, and reporting
- Measure training effectiveness and recommend continuous improvement strategies
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field required
- 3–5 years of experience in training and development, preferably within a law firm or professional services environment
- Demonstrated experience designing and delivering structured training programs
- Strong presentation and facilitation skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Experience working with Learning Management Systems and training technologies
- Ability to communicate complex information clearly to diverse audiences
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
