Trial Attorney
Job Description
Everstaff is seeking a passionate and results-driven Trial Attorney to represent clients through all stages of litigation for a respected personal injury law firm.
The ideal candidate is a confident litigator with proven courtroom experience, a client-first mindset, and the ability to manage a high-volume caseload while delivering exceptional advocacy and results.
Salary: $100,000-$250,000
Direct-Hire Opportunity
Responsibilities:
- Represent clients in all phases of litigation, from case strategy and discovery to trial and verdict.
- Conduct depositions, mediations, and courtroom proceedings with professionalism and precision.
- Develop and execute litigation strategies aimed at achieving favorable trial outcomes.
- Collaborate with paralegals, investigators, and support staff to manage case files and documentation.
- Communicate effectively with clients, keeping them informed and supported throughout the process.
- Utilize legal technology and case management platforms to maintain organized, up-to-date case information.
Qualifications:
- Licensed to practice law in Tennessee or Kentucky (multi-state licensure preferred)
- Minimum of 1 year of legal experience; personal injury litigation preferred
- Demonstrated record of favorable trial results (settlements do not qualify)
- Strong critical thinking, negotiation, and litigation skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Client-focused, self-motivated, and capable of working both independently and collaboratively
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and case management software (e.g., Litify)
Preferred Skills:
- Experience building referral networks and client pipelines
- Bilingual proficiency (Spanish a plus)
- Familiarity with medical records, insurance coverage, and policy evaluation
Additional Requirements:
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
- Willingness to travel for client meetings, hospital visits, or scene investigations
- Ability to lift up to 15 pounds occasionally and work at a desk for extended periods
