Job Description

We are searching for a Trust & Estates Paralegal for our client in Sarasota, FL. You will be responsible for supporting attorneys with estate planning, probate, and trust administration matters, ensuring accuracy, compliance with Florida law, and timely completion of all assigned tasks.
 
Key Responsibilities
  • Draft fundamental estate planning and estate funding documents.
  • Review and assist with advanced estate planning documents.
  • Draft probate and trust administration and settlement documents.
  • Support estate and trust administrations in compliance with Florida probate rules and procedures.
  • Manage tasks through completion, ensuring deadlines are met in a fast-paced environment.
  • Maintain accurate files, documentation, and correspondence related to estate and trust matters.
  • Communicate effectively with attorneys, clients, courts, and third parties.
  • Work collaboratively with the legal team to support efficient case management.
 
Qualifications
  • 5+ years of experience as an estate planning or estate and trust administration Paralegal in a mid to large-sized Florida law firm.
  • Strong Florida probate and trust administration experience required.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple assignments and prioritize workload effectively.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel) and law firm case management and billing systems.
  • Experience with iManage, SmartTime, Aderant, Wealth Counsel, Estate Works, and Hot Docs is a plus.
