Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Workers Compensation Attorney for our client in Greenville. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in workers compensation law, with the ability to effectively advocate for clients and navigate the complexities of workers compensation cases. 

Responsibilities:
  • Oversee and manage a caseload of workers compensation cases from inception to resolution.
  • Conduct thorough investigations, gather evidence, and assess the viability of potential claims.
  • Provide legal representation for clients in negotiations, mediations, and court proceedings.
  • Advocate for clients' rights and interests throughout the legal process.
  • Conduct initial client consultations to assess the merits of potential cases.
  • Keep clients informed about the progress of their cases and provide realistic expectations regarding outcomes.
  • Stay current on workers compensation laws, regulations, and precedents.
  • Conduct legal research to support case strategies and arguments.
  • Negotiate settlements with opposing counsel.
  • Prepare and review settlement agreements to ensure clients' best interests are represented.
  • Prepare cases for trial, including drafting pleadings, motions, and other legal documents.
  • Coordinate with expert witnesses and gather necessary evidence for courtroom presentations.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, keeping them informed about case developments.
  • Address client concerns and inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
Qualifications:
  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Admitted to the bar and in good standing.
  • Proven track record of successful workers compensation case outcomes.
  • Excellent negotiation and litigation skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
